Terrific Teacher and Terrific Terrapin

This week’s Terrific Teacher at CREECS is Ms. Crystal Herron!

Ms. Crystal has many wonderful attributes and is an important part of our CREECS family.  Her top character traits are that she is devoted and enthusiastic about her field of education, knows a lot about technology, hardworking, positive, helpful, cool, and tells the students to “keep your mask up” about 20 times a day. 

One student said, “Ms. Crystal is passionate about her job. She tries her best for everyone to succeed. She's not only helpful to her students but also to her fellow staff members. She's organized and on top of everything. This teacher's compassion for her job is astronomical. If it weren't for this teacher, I don't think our school would be able to thrive the way it is under the circumstances of covid and e-learning.”

Congratulations to this week’s student nominees for Terrific Terrapin.  

They are Ethan Bates, Anna Smith, Aiden McCann, and Sam Treptow. 

This week’s winner is Anna Smith and here is what was said about her: 

“Anna always shows MARSH behaviors. She models the behaviors that all of us need to have, such as persistence and kindness. She always challenges herself with academics and is the first person to offer a helping hand. Additionally, there's a huge item that sets Anna apart from many others: She doesn't exclude any of her classmates. She will work with anyone, and she'll do it with acceptance and a kind heart.”
